One of many cardiac specialties is Electrophysiology and interventional cardiology. Under this specialty, electrophysiologist will diagnose and treat irregular heart rhythms, or arrhythmias and interventional cardiologist is specially trained in performing specific catheter-based procedures to treat heart disease. The Department is supported by a well-equipped third generation Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Critical Care Units and Intensive Care Units.
